Garage Door Daily is opening applications for an executive council: a working group of garage door company owners built to compare real notes on the pressures specific to this trade, missed after-hours calls that walk straight to a competitor, smart-home and sensor integration that's changing what a service call actually involves, and a growing field of AI answering and marketing tools that vary wildly in whether they're worth the cost.

Every owner deciding whether an AI phone system is worth the switch, or how to price a smart-garage upgrade against a straightforward spring repair, is largely working this out alone. A council of owners comparing real, specific experience should get to better answers faster than any one company figuring it out independently.

What are missed calls costing you?

This is a launch, not a filled roster. Nobody is a member today. Applications open now, reviewed by our editorial team, with direct follow-up to the owners we invite in. Members may be asked for a quote, a short interview, or a write-up in future coverage, credited to them and their business.

The bar to apply is real: a minimum of $1 million in annual revenue, since this is built for operators running an established garage door business. Beyond that, what matters most is a willingness to talk plainly about what's actually working in the field. Apply through the council page if that's you.
